Yost Family Update

Can you believe I'll be 9 months old next week?!

I find less and less available time to make the all-important updates to the blog, but when my son was wide awake at 5am this morning, forcing me out of my comfy bed, I thought to myself, what better time than the present?

Above are a few snapshots taken a couple days ago and really shows Jameson's personality. He really knows how to light up a room. His smile is contagious and is a frequent sight in our household. I can't believe how lucky we are to get such a wonderful son (I wonder if my fatigue makes more sappy than usual?) Anywho, he's growing so fast and learning new things all the time. Mostly he learns how to get into things he's not supposed to. He's a very fast crawler now and pulling himself up is a breeze. I guess he feels the need to keep up with big sister.

He has been threatening to get his first tooth. We can see and feel it and then it disappears for a few days. But it's there! We had to find a formula that he wasn't allergic to. He would get a little rash from the first formula we tried. But apparently he has expensive taste because the $25 can is more to his liking (and you should see the size of this can... it's tiny!) I still nurse when I'm home with him at night and on weekends. He's eating lots of tasty foods, but he still seems to prefer mommy the best (a blessing and a curse!).

Miss Natalie is turning 3 next month! I can't believe it. She cracks us up with the things that come out of her mouth... "I don't delieve it", "good end" (what she says at the conclusion of a story instead of "the end"), "pinkie square" (instead of swear) and you'll be happy to know that she can finally say her brother's name! What started out as "Jafeson" or "Jalefun" transitioned to 2-syllable "Jame-sun" and is now "Jameson"! Only took 8 months, but that's okay.

In other news, our "Mama Bird" is back for her 4th summer on our front porch. Here is Jeramy's attempt at getting a photo of the baby bird eggs from the ladder, without the advantage of looking through the view finder:

And here is Mama Bird sitting in her next, very protective...

We can't wait to meet our new baby birdies soon!

I'm tired. Good night. I mean good morning...
