Natalie turns 3...

Thanks to all the good friends and family who helped Natalie celebrate her 3rd birthday this weekend! Her garden fairy party was so much fun! Natalie won't soon forget this birthday... Here are just a few of the many great pics taken by Grandpa Walters...

Waiting very patiently for the party to begin...

Happy boy!

Big sister love

Picking out fairy accessories: wands, wings, fairy dust and of course, lots of sweets!

Amanda helps the fairies blow bubbles

Uncle Peter joins the party via Skype, with his friend Whinny the Pooh, to wish Natalie a happy birthday!

Making sure Aunt Romy has her wings on straight

Taking a break for a nibble.

The newly renovated dollhouse! It's a hit! (Whew!)

How many fairies does it take to open a present?

Jameson loves the dollhouse too... He loves that he can stand on it Godzilla-style!

Playing with cousin Chloe

Yummy pink lemonade cake with lemon cream cheese frosting (and three pink candles of course)!

"Happy birthday to you..."

Another birthday come and gone. Where does the time go? Love you Nat-Bug!

Just a quick update...

This week:

  • Jameson got his first tooth, officially. It's teeny tiny on the bottom and you can barely see it, but you can feel it!
  • Natalie has gone 1 whole week wearing big girl panties to bed and waking up dry! Bye bye Pull-Ups!
They are growing up so fast! Have a great weekend!

Bombs bursting in air...

Where else would we celebrate our country's independence, but in good 'ole, Independence, Oregon!? We watched the parade, of course. Natalie was much more into the candy this year, and Grandpa Ray improved the engineering of the targets/collection bags, so basically she scored enough candy to last her until at least Halloween.
Not a ham at all, is she?

Waitin' for more candy with cousin Chloe...

Wishin' he had some teeth so he could enjoy a Tootsie Roll or something from Sissy's bag...

Waving to the horses...

Then of course, we headed back home so the sugar-laden kiddo could sleep off the candy and hopefully make it to fireworks time... After a BBQ feast and some playing with cousin Kendra, we got bundled up and headed to the waterfront with about 10 million other people.

Daddy and Jameson patiently waiting for it to get dark...

Where does she get this evil little expression from? Still waiting with Grandpa Ray.

Ah, there they are. Natalie loved them but Jameson slept through most of the show. He did wake up for a bit and seemed less than impressed with the display. "I stayed up late for this?" is what he seemed to be thinking...

Fun weekend celebrating with the fam! Next up? Natalie's third birthday...
