Happy Campers!

This Memorial Day weekend we went camping with our friends, the Valentis at Grey Butte near Smith Rock. We had a fantastic time... See for yourself!

Our little home away from home. This was our maiden voyage in our "new" 71 Aristocrat trailer.

This was the beautiful view from our campsite at sunset on Saturday.

Cecilia and Natalie let Dominick drive the ATV first.

Awwww....

Jameson and Mommy snuggle fireside.

Taking turns riding the bike.

Mmmm, s'mores!

Natalie take a ride on Daddy.

Now it's Jameson's turn...

Beautiful wildflowers!

Celia and Natalie pick flowers for their mommies.

Natalie posing with her bouquet.

C'mon, Celia, let's run faster! (Notice the matching "GAP" sweatshirts--not planned!)

Hey, who's missing from the picture? Oh yeah, the little man was conked out in the car during this picturesque outing.

Now here's a complete family pic. There was a wonderful apple orchard just coming into bloom. Pretty!

The Yost men enjoy the scenery.

Running with bubbles.

Despite all the poses on the ATV, Natalie was too scared to take a ride, even with Daddy!

Tree climbing.

Jameson takes a snooze.

Happy Trails...

Trip to Boise...

The kids and I hopped into the car Thursday evening and took a little (okay, a long) road trip to meet the newest members of the Albert family in Boise. The kids did great, thank goodness! Honestly, I was dreading it, traveling by myself with them, but it turns out traveling in the evening/night is the way to go. Natalie even learned how to go potty by the side of the road (she thought it was fun!). Here are a few pics from our trip...

Alyne looks a little surprised to meet Natalie

Natalie was very gentle, especially with little Syrah ("rah")

Jameson shows off the new hat Uncle James gave him. Apparently he had to drink a lot of Irish whiskey to get this hat...

Alyne enjoys the park

Jameson loving the beautiful, sunny weather

And this pic is from a few weeks ago. Can you guess who placed this pink, sequin tiara on his head?
