Weekend Photos

This weekend included a visit from Katsa, Grandpa and Great Grandma Walters.

Natalie & Great Grandma

Natalie modeling the new dress Great Grandma gave her...

Natalie put on a dance recital (she picked her own costume if you couldn't tell)

Exhausted after twirling and twirling and twirling...

Katsa & Natalie hosted a tea party in her room. Just a bit more sugar...

Careful not to spill!

Pinkies up!

Jameson & Great Grandma

Grandpa was able to snap some pictures of Jameson that are so adorable, I can't decide which is my favorite. So here are a few...

Such a charmer...

Jameson is getting around more and more these days. I wouldn't call it crawling as much as scooting. But there's no doubt he'll learn the more efficient way to get around soon. He's mastered sitting (unless he's knocked down) and loves to play with toys!

And Natalie is pre-school bound in the fall. We've been looking and looking and think we finally found a great place for her. They're growing much too fast!!!

Hims & Hers (and other Natalie-isms)

So, I've been meaning to post this for a while just to document all of the funny things that come out of Natalie's mouth these days. I know as soon as I post it, I will think of 5 more. Maybe I really will start writing them down like I always say I should...

"Here's hims bib" - When you think about it, "hims" makes much more sense than "his". No matter how many times I try to correct her by drawing out "hiiiiiiiisss", she replies "hiiiiiimmms".

"Wait with me" - which in and of itself is not so funny. But what she means to say is "wait for me".

"By the way..." - this just sounds so adult coming out of her little 2.5 year old mouth. "By the way, I'm all done with my dinner."

"I changed my mind" - I taught her to say this when I was tired of her saying "Mom, I want milk." (give her milk) "No, I want juice" ("no, Natalie, you asked for milk"), "no, I WANT JUICE!!!" Sigh. Unfortunately, it hasn't exactly solved the problem but it's a cute new saying, right? Changing her mind--Is this a girl thing or a 2-year-old thing?

And this was just too cute...

(Natalie, to her baby brother): "Baby, you're my best friend." Awwww. (She "changed her mind" a few days later when I asked if brother was her best friend.)
