Jameson: 4 months old!

Hi, my name is Jameson Ray Yost. Today marks my 4 month birthday and boy, have I come a long way, baby!

I can hold my head up really well when I lay on my tummy. I'm a very strong boy! I can roll from my tummy to my back--quite a fun trick. I love to grab toys and chew on them. In fact I like to chew on anything, including my hands and fingers. I'm getting keener on the binkie and the bottle, although, nothing compares to my mommy! But, hey, I can adapt with the best of 'em. I love my sister. She makes me laugh a lot. I

don't even mind too much when she whacks me
on the head (unless it hurts). But I know she loves me too and I figure I may as well get used to it... Laying on the floor is for babies. I like to sit up like the big kids and be part of the action. I can't quite do it on my own yet, but  I try my hardest to sit up (my abs are pretty strong from all the "crunches" I've been doing), and my special Bumbo chair helps too. I still like to make mom do lots of laundry by spitting up whenever I feel like it. It doesn't bother me, it's mostly for fun (for me, not anyone else!). I'm ticklish. I'm a pretty good sleeper at night when I'm swaddled nice and tight.

So, all in all, I'm a pretty mellow little dude. I like my life so far and can't wait to see what else I can accomplish by this time next month...

Is it really 2010?!

We've obviously been too busy to blog! Between the holidays, going back to work, preparation for Jeramy's surgery, learning how to Wii, and, oh yeah, two kids, things have been a little hectic! I promise an update soon, but to tide you over, here's a recent snap of the kiddos...

It's sometimes difficult to catch Jameson's cute dimpled smile with the camera (I swear, he smiles all the time, I just never have the camera ready!).
