Grandma's visit & mommy's Hullabaloo

This week was a very busy week for our family. I had to take a business trip to Portland Monday and Tuesday so Natalie's Grandma Pat came to visit and take care of Miss Nat while I was gone (and while Jeramy was at work!). It was my first ever night away from her, but we both did just fine. Over the weekend I had to work at the event that I have been planning for 6 months: The NorthWest Crossing Hullabaloo. It was a great success and our family (including uncle Peter (whose band played in the park) and Grandpa Walters) enjoyed the festivities. It's been a crazy week and we probably wouldn't have survived without Grandma in town to help out. 

Tomorrow Natalie and I are off to Pendleton to visit Great Grandpa Walters who was recently diagnosed with advanced, stage IV lung cancer. He is electing not to go through treatment so it is important that we go spend some time with him.

Father's Day Pics

Jeramy had a nice first Father's Day with his "girls". Natalie was especially photogenic this past weekend. Here are a few fun pics enjoying the summer weather!

The Busy Body Caught on Camera!

Here's another video from some footage we shot over the last few days. It's entitled "Busy Body"... you'll see why. This flick has it all... drama, action, passion (on Toby's part), and a beautiful female lead.

 

Natalie loves to push her walking toy around, but usually doesn't get very far. Yes, as you'll notice, she likes to push it into the walls and furniture. And she doesn't yet know how to turn it around by herself. But she has fun!

We're going to enjoy the summer-like weather that is forecasted this weekend (finally!).

Swimming!

Today we spent the afternoon with Natalie's Auntie Bethany. Nat absolutely adores Bethany, who just turned 10 a few weeks ago. We had a girls day and after lunch, spent some time at the pool. Natalie still feels pretty comfortable in the water, after you give her a few minutes to get used to it. Sporting a new swimsuit, she and Bethany practiced floating and even going down a slide or two. Unfortunately, Natalie also discovered she liked to drink the water every time she floated on her belly. Ewww. Anyway, enjoy some of the pics!
